\nHomicide Squad 416?808?7400<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at 6:32 p.m., police were called to 75 Talara Drive.<\/p>\n

Officers located a woman in one of the apartments suffering from obvious signs of trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

The post?mortem examination determined the cause of death as multiple sharp?force entries to the body.<\/p>\n

Investigators have learned that the victim was in the process of renting the other bedroom in her apartment. Police believe an online ad may have been posted on a Chinese website for the apartment. Police are asking anyone who contacted the victim about renting the bedroom to contact them.<\/p>\n

Anyone who may have had a relationship with the victim, or any type of interaction with her, is asked to call police.<\/p>\n

A police command post will be staffed between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., on Friday, September 5, 2008, in front of 75 Talara Drive , and will remain on site for the weekend. Anyone with information is asked to speak with an officer at the command post.<\/p>\n

Additional officers have been assigned to the area to obtain information and to address any concerns area residents may have.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at 6:32 p.m., police were called to 75 Talara Drive.<\/p>\n

She was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

Investigators have now completed notification of next of kin, and are able to identify the deceased as Yuan (Tracy) Tian, 31.<\/p>\n

Her family has asked police to pass on their request that the media not publish or broadcast any pictures they have of Yuan (Tracy) Tian.<\/p>\n

A police command post will be staffed between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., on Friday, September 5, 2008, in front of 75 Talara Drive , and will remain on site for the weekend. Anyone with information is asked to speak with an officer at the command post.<\/p>\n
