The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a bank robbery investigation.<\/p>\n
It is alleged that: <\/p>\n
– on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 9 a.m., a man entered the Bank of Montreal at 4271 Sheppard Avenue East<\/p>\n
– the man demanded money from the teller while pointing a black handgun at her<\/p>\n
– the man then vaulted the counter and obtained more money before fleeing in a red Jeep Liberty<\/p>\n
On Thursday, June 27, 2013, officers arrested Fosheng Shi, 20, of Toronto.<\/p>\n
He is charged with:<\/p>\n
1) Robbery
\n2) Use imitation firearm
\n3) Disguise with intent<\/p>\n
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Thursday, June 27, 2013.<\/p>\n
