the picture I said, \u2018holy sh..\u2019 I am in shock.\u201d<\/p>\n It was just four days after York University student Qian \u2018Necole\u2019 Liu, 23, was found dead \u2014 a struggle seen on webcam by her boyfriend in China \u2014 that this man said he was sitting with Dickson at the My Bar and Restaurant on Gerrard and Pape and it was \u201cregular bar BS\u201d banter going on between them.<\/p>\n \u201cHe even offered to buy me a beer,\u201d he said of the late Tuesday night encounter. Dickson was arrested the next day.<\/p>\n \u201cI remember Brian looking at two crack dealers over in the corner saying, \u201cthey are ruining this neighbourhood.\u201d <\/p>\n And then the conversation got strange. <\/p>\n \u201cHe said to me, \u2018Have you ever been to jail?\u2019 He was asking me if I knew what it was like?\u201d the bar patron said. <\/p>\n \u201cI told him I had once for five days. Then he said, \u2018Well I am going to jail for life.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n He assumed Dickson, 29, who he thought worked as a retail salesman at the Eaton Centre, was just joking around.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t know what to think.
